Holiday Photos

We've tried to get to Japan a few times, but it's not easy to work into a multiple-destination trip from Australia, so it has eluded us.
This time though, we made it our sole destination for three weeks, and off we went!
Expectations were high, as it seems that everybody who visits has nothing but nice things to say about the country and people.

This trip wasn’t really planned, and grew out of a comment from Dani’s Mum that she’d like to visit her family in Italy sometime. It eventuated into also taking my Mum back to the UK, meeting up with my Son and his family there, and then everyone except the Nonnas spending 7 weeks touring Italy by Train!

A long weekend away at a Holiday Home in Encounter Bay, South Australia was much needed, and most appreciated. Spent some quality time with my Grandson Jaxon, which was awesome!

It’s 2019, and time to hit Europe again! This time it’s England, Portugal, Spain and Malta!!  We were very lucky - we got home a few weeks before COVID broke out!

2017 takes us back to the amazing United Kingdom,including a first visit to Ireland!

The trip takes us to England, Spain, Switzerland (briefly), France (briefly) and Italy, with a quick look around Doha.

2014 took us to explore New Zealand.
Without doubt one of the most relaxing, enjoyable holidays ever.
We met some fantastic people, had great food, and of course the scenery is unsurpassed.

We decided to have a few days away with my Son and Daughter-in-law, and our dogs Jess and Jake.
As I opened the tailgate of my wagon, the dogs bolted into the ocean, and stayed there pretty much until it was time to leave!

Dani and I visited India and the United Arab Emirates in 2013!
We didn't plan India too well, and it was a little disappointing, but the UAE was amazing!

In 2011 we visited Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. A most amazing trip!

Another visit to the East – Fabulous Hong Kong and China!
China was disappointing, and we wouldn't go again.

I didn’t get to take too many pictures this trip, but I did get to spend a day with the guys at Prancing Horse, driving their Ferraris. Huge fun!

In 2008 Dani and I drove around North Queensland, flying into Cairns and doing a big loop down to Townsville and back up again. One of my favourite parts of the world.

In 2007 we travelled to Thailand – our first real visit into Asia. And were amazed!

A few days on the glorious Sunshine Coast in Queensland to visit with great pal Tony, who has sadly passed now.

When the Olympics (and all the tourists) came to Australia, we headed over to the US, where we had a great time exploring.

In 1999 I headed off on a lone trip to visit friends in Singapore, the USA and England, where I re-acquainted myself with lots of relatives - a really awesome trip!

1998 and I headed to Townsville, North Queensland - one of my favourite placees!

1997 included a quick trip (my first) to Perth to spend a few days with close friends Alan and Shari.  And we had a great time!

A side-trip from Bermuda to visit with cousin and childhood bestie Christopher.  Boston is a fantastic place, and loads to do nearby, like Salem and Cape Cod.

A programming job took me to Bermuda a couple of times - brilliant place!
