The Giants Causeway 2017

The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland. The day we were there it blew a gale, which I suspect is situation normal for the area. Spectacularly beautiful spot, well worth the effort to get there.

Wear something warm!!! And it's quite a hike from the car park, but there is a shuttle bus that costs a couple of pounds.
